Wheelchair Sports Victoria, in conjunction with the National Handcycling Series, will be hosting a handcycle ‘come and try' day on Saturday the 27th of February. The session will be held at the conclusion of the Victorian leg of the National Handcycling Series at the Echuca South Tennis Courts (next door to the Echuca Fonterra Basketball Stadium), from 2.00-4.00pm. Elite Australian handcyclists will be in attendance to assist newcomers to the sport, as well as providing an opportunity for people to try handcycling. Wheelchair Sports Victoria currently loans equipment such as handcycles to current members for 3 months at no cost, encouraging members to develop their skills and fitness in the sport.
Anyone with a physical disability is encouraged to come and try this exciting sport.
