Wheelchair Sports Victoria (WSV) is a Public Benevolent Institution, working as a registered charity to provide sport and recreational opportunities for people with a mobility related disability.
Donations raised through our Direct Marketing Department account for up to 90% of our total operating budget and as such regular donors are the lifeblood of our club.
As funds are always severely limited, in fact never more so, our telemarketers are working harder than ever seeking sponsorship from business and residential communities.
Donations to Wheelchair Sports Victoria are tax deductible and receipts issued. Please ensure we have your correct details when donations are made.
Wheelchair Sports Victoria is registered with Consumer Affairs, in accordance with the Fund Raising Act 2004, our allocated permit number is 8262.
We are currently seeking donations for:
2008 Wheelchair Sports Summer Camp
Anglesea - 12th - 14th December
Camp cost $165 per child
Which includes:
- Accommodation at the YMCA Anglesea Recreation Camp located off the Great Ocean Rd, which have wheelchair accessible cabins
- Transport to and from Anglesea from WSV offices in Fitzroy.
- All meals during the three day camp
- Hire of ski equipment
- A range of recreational activities
